A Year of Truth Contest

In order to understand Truth and Reconciliation, truth must come first. We need to understand the mistakes of our past in order to make meaningful reconciliation. A Year of Truth is a time for us to acknowledge where we are responsible and to learn as much as we can about the Indigenous experience in Canada. The Year of Truth contest is your opportunity to share what you have learned about the Indigenous experience for a chance to win some great prizes, including gift cards to local Indigenous businesses, an invite to a soup and bannock lunch with the City’s Elder in Residence, and/or your entry displayed on city banners.
