High Stream Flow Advisory

The BC River Forecast Centre has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for Metro Vancouver. This week, warming temperatures and heavy rainfall will result in rapid rises for creeks and rivers with possible flooding.

Given the high elevated water levels, we are urging residents to remain aware and use caution when around the Fraser River shoreline and to please keep children and pets out of and away from fast-moving water.

IMPORTANT: Help prevent localized flooding by keeping catch basins clear of snow and debris.
