People, Parks and Pup Strategy

A comprehensive strategy for sharing parks and open spaces that is safe and comfortable for all, including seniors, adults, children and dogs is currently underway. 

This will be the second and final public open house to develop a long-term strategy for planning, designing  and maintaining space for dogs that respects a diversity of park uses. At Open House #2 we will be sharing key recommendations that were developed from the first phase of the engagement process, including pilot projects that will test ‘shared spaces’ with designated hours of use for dogs off-leash.
