Mandatory Masks in Indoor Public Settings

In accordance with public health orders, masks are now required in all indoor public settings for people 12 and older, regardless of vaccination status. This includes City Hall, public libraries, community and recreation centres, and common areas of sport and fitness centres when not engaged in physical activity.

People with health conditions or physical, cognitive or mental impairments who cannot wear or remove a mask on their own are exempt. Masks are encouraged for children aged two to 12 in public settings. For more information, please visit gov.bc.ca/covid19
