Curator Talk: Meet Lee Sing Yen (14+ years)

Join Curator K. Linda Tzang to learn about the individual behind the Meet Lee Sing Yen exhibition. Lee Sing Yen was an ordinary man, working as a labourer in New Westminster for 50 years. It is rare for us to put a name to people like him, let alone be able to piece together some of his life. Using documents discovered in the archives we have been able to recreate some of the story and learn how Canada's historic, anti-Chinese policies impacted ordinary people.
