Notice to Prospective Candidates for the 2022 Local Government Election

Nomination packages will be available on the City’s website at newwestcity.ca/elections and at Legislative Services, Second Floor, City Hall, on July 29, 2022. One printed candidate package per prospective candidate will be printed upon request. Please email elections@newwestcity.ca or call 778-222-5613 to request a package for pick up.

Nomination papers will be accepted from Aug. 30 at 9:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sept. 9, 2022. Full details of the process are included in the nomination package.
